Following the inconsistencies of the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme prior to its launch, which were highlighted in the feasibility report released by the Transport for London, we felt the need to get started on a sleek and practical mobile application for th cycle scheme.

The London Cycle app easily allows users to find cycle stations, plan cycle-safe routes from one point to another and check real-time cycle availability at any particular station.

This app received widespread press coverage and was featured multiple times by Apple on the App Store, including a full front page banner. In the summer of 2010, London Cycle was ranked as the No.1 app on the UK App Store under the Travel category.
